Matthew 8-9
Jesus begins his day-to-day interactions with his world by proclaiming that His Kingdom is for Gentiles (like us), too. He shows his power over nature by calming the storm. He shows his power over life by healing the lame. And he shows His power over death by raising a dead girl. All evidence of His rightful place as King.
